Overview

Note for instructors: Provide a high-level overview of what students will be doing for the assignment. For this assignment, you'll be practicing your coding skills using your code.org account. This assignment will help make sure you're understanding how to code.

Task/Directions

Note for instructors: Provide instructions about the activities/actions the students should complete. List the steps, expectations, and anything specific. To reduce the number of emails you receive with questions, be as detailed as possible; you may not have face-to-face time for students to ask questions. 

There are a couple parts to this assignment. Please make sure you complete all of the steps below before you submit your quiz assignment.

For questions 1-5

• watch the videos
• complete the activity in code.org
• upload an image of your code.org project to the quiz question.

For question 6

• read the article and answer the questions appropriately.

Submission Instructions

Note for instructors: Provide information about how students will submit their work, including submission type, where to submit, naming conventions, late policies, etc.

• For questions 1-5, you will submit a screenshot to the quiz question. Directions on how to submit a screenshot:
  • Toggle over "image"
  • Click on "upload image"
  • Drag your image file to the rocketship or click on the rocketship and search for your image. Once you have found the image, make sure it is highlighted and click "open"
  • Make sure embed image is chosen under "display options"
  • Finally, click "submit and it should embed into the answer box
  • NOTE: I recommend waiting for your image to fully load before moving on to the next question or submitting your quiz homework.
• For question 6, type your answer in the text box. 

Grading

Note for instructors: Explain how students will be evaluated for this assignment. 

Each question in this assignment is worth 5 points. Please note that this assignment will be graded by your instructor. Please note that you will not receive a grade for this quiz assignment until after your instructor evaluates your responses.
