What is the Canvas Design Studio?

The Canvas Design Studio is a repository of customizable templates and how-to pages to help you design and improve the look and feel of your course. In this course, you'll find templates for home pages, syllabi, module layouts, and assignments among others. Anything you find in this course is available for you to use, customize and implement in your own course. Please feel free to use this course as you see fit, whether that is to spark new ideas, or to help you create the shell of your course so you can focus on the content. All content in this course is available in Canvas Commons. You can find it by searching for key words including, "Canvas Design Studio." Access course content by clicking on one of the buttons below.

Joining The Course

Please note: To view some examples in this course you may need to click the +Join this Course button in the upper right corner of your screen (this may be at the bottom if you are on a smaller screen). Then, select "enroll in course" and Canvas Design Studio will become a part of your Canvas Dashboard.
