Resources to Use on Your Exam

If your students will need resources to complete the exam, you will want to link them to the quiz so students will be able to access them while using lockdown browser. For more information on how do add them, look over this How to have a PDF open in a second tab in LockDown Browser 

Grading

Instructor note: Give students information about how many points the quiz is worth, including how many each question is worth (and differences between different types of questions). Inform students of if their quiz will be graded automatically or if it will be graded by you.

Need Help?

Instructor note: Be specific with how students can access help if they are having problems with LockDown Browser or the quiz. 

Example:

If you experience technical issues (including any error messages) during testing, you must contact MavTECH Help Center.   Their contact information is found under the “Keep Learning” button in Canvas.  Please note that MavTECH is open 8:00am -5:00pm CST, so if you test outside of this window, they will not be available.  Under the “Help” button in Canvas, there is a 24/7 Support Hotline and Chat feature.  However, please note, their wait times can be extremely long (I have waited well over 2 hours before).  In conclusion, not having technical support is a risk assumed when taking the exam outside of regular business hours.
