Welcome to UNO's AI Prompt Book for Faculty and Staff!

This hub is designed to help you learn about and easily implement generative AI into your class and work. There are a variety of modules in this course: technology resources, student uses of AI, AI in the Classroom, Using AI to Work More Efficienctly and assignment templates. Below are explanations of what you can find in the different modules:

Technology Resource Module: This module contains directions on how to create a ChatGPT account, how to start new chats (and the limitations), and how to write great prompts.

Student uses of AI and AI in the classroom: These modules contain use cases of AI and include, when you could use them, prompts to copy and paste into AI (with personalization), directions for students and real examples of what prompt inputs and outputs may look like to help ensure it is what you want.

Assignment Templates: This assignment contains assignment templates for how you can implement AI into your course. These templates are designed to help get you started on assignments; you will need to personalize them to meet your own expectations and criteria.  

Using AI to Work More Efficiently: This module contains resources to help you learn how you can use AI to work more efficiently
