Wondering how to incorporate AI into your assignments and projects? This workshop will offer helpful information, multiple examples, and hands-on work time for you to begin to adapt an assignment. Bring an assignment to the workshop and begin the adaptation process with the helpful support of colleagues Cassie Mallette (Adjunct Faculty – Sociology and Instructional Designer), Birud Sindhav (Professor – Marketing & Entrepreneurship), and Billy Kramer (Assistant Professor – Psychology) who will guide you as you adapt your assignment. Faculty who attend may be eligible for $75 stipend.

An Introduction to ChatGPT in Higher Education: Opportunities and Challenges - A Panel Discussion.

Since the release of ChatGPT in late 2022, those in academic circles have been discussing the opportunities and challenges presented by this artificial intelligence tool. The UNO Office of Digital Learning, Center for Faculty Excellence, and the Writing Center will host a panel of UNO colleagues who will share information about ChatGPT and discuss their experiences engaging with it. The session is designed for those from all levels of interest, background knowledge, and experiences with ChatGPT.
