Welcome to the University of Nebraska Omaha's Center for Afghan Studies Climate Change Distance Learning Modules. The collection is meant to support learning across disciplines, so whether you are new to climate studies or approaching the topic from health, education, environmental science, or social science, the modules offer multiple entry points for exploring both the science of climate change and its human dimensions.

As you move through the modules, you will find lectures and ungraded companion question sets that cover major climate-related themes such as soil carbon, systems thinking, sustainability, climate justice, climate communication, public health, and curriculum design, with some modules also emphasizing regional issues in Southwest Asia, especially Afghanistan and Pakistan.
